BTRtec is the official North American distributor of Lockin smart mortise locks. We serve homeowners in Canada and the United States, combining smart lock technology with specialist installation and ongoing support.

We believe a better front-door experience starts before you choose a lock. It starts with understanding your door, confirming compatibility, and helping you find a solution that works for your home.

More than a lock

A smart mortise lock is fitted into the door itself. Getting the pocket, wiring, and frame alignment right matters just as much as choosing the hardware. That is why we install the Lockin locks we distribute, using technicians trained specifically on Lockin hardware.

We assess door compatibility and service availability before an installation is booked, so you can make an informed decision.

Installation included

Professional installation is included in the price of the Lockin smart mortise locks we sell, for eligible houses within our service areas.

Support after setup

We help you configure your access methods and learn how to use your lock. Free on-site support and adjustments are available within the one-year warranty period.

Our installation service is currently available for single-family houses in these service areas. Door compatibility and location must be confirmed before booking. Condominium and high-rise apartment units are not currently serviced.
